What is CAD?

CAD stands for Computer-Aided Design and is the use of computer software to create, modify, and analyze designs. It allows engineers, architects, and designers to model things in 3D to be tested, better visualized by others, and refined before physical production. CAD provides more precision and accuracy compared to manual drafting, making it easier to simulate how a prototype will perform.

What is Onshape?

Onshape is a user-friendly cloud-based CAD platform that assists engineers and designers to create, edit, and collaborate on 3D models seamlessly. Unlike traditional desktop CAD software, Onshape offers the flexibility of accessing and working on designs from a web browser or mobile app.
