Most of these sites open from 9am to around 4 pm. So, for example, we would have to leave campus at around 6 am for Snow Ranch or 2 am for FAR.

Snow Ranch (LUNAR)

  • First Saturday of each month
  • Allows up to M class motor, but needs LUNAR board approval prior to flying.
  • Certified L3, 15,000 ft ceiling.
  • Gives certifications

Tripoli Central California (TCC)

• Notes:
  • Allows up to M class motors. M class motors and up need documentation for RSO showing rocket will be stable
  • Certified L3, 16,800 ft ceiling.
  • $20 fee for monthly launches (flyers only) (third Saturday of each month)
  • Gives certifications.
