What is KiCAD?

KiCad is a free and open-source software used to design electronic circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs). It helps users create circuit schematics, design PCB layouts, and generate files needed for manufacturing electronic boards.

Example 1: Avionics Ground Control Station

Consists of a radio and esp32. The circuitry and traces were designed in KiCAD, and then milled on the bantam at Slugworks

Two breakout boards: Radio module and ESP32. The circuit board is the copper underneath.
