The TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test) certification is required for all recreational drone pilots in the United States. Here's a step-by-step guide to obtaining it through Pilot Institute:TRUST CERT

Step 1: Understand TRUST

• TRUST is an online test mandated by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
• It's free, quick, and ensures you know the basics of drone safety.
• The test is open-book, and you can't fail—you can retake it as needed.

Step 2: Register at Pilot Institute

1. Visit the Pilot Institute website at Pilot Institute TRUST Program. LINK: TRUST CERT
2. Create a free account with your email.
3. Navigate to the TRUST Certification section.

Step 3: Take the Test

• The test includes multiple-choice questions covering:
  • Drone registration rules.
  • Where you can and cannot fly.
  • Safety and legal regulations.
• Read through the educational material provided before answering.

Step 4: Upload Your Certificate

• Once you pass, you need to download, and may print your certificate. Keep it with you while flying your drone.
